Free education drive in Bihar by an NRI

NEW DELHI: A massive plantation drive was organized today at Kalikat Nagar in Danapur and a bhoomi poojan was performed for inauguration of free education Centre.nnRitesh Kumar, a native of Bihar organised the tree plantation and inauguration of free education center in remembrance of his father Lt. Maheshwar Prasad Singh (Retd IAS). Ritesh is a senior executive with a multinational company in New York (USA). Children from Woods International School Lekha Nagar, Khagaul also joined them in this noble cause where children planted trees.nn?It is our responsibility to give back to society where we had nurtured ourselves and enjoyed our childhood?, said Kumar.nn?We have so many people from Bihar in the US and other places who want to contribute towards the development of Bihar and are looking for ways to do this. I hope we could start one of the opportunity where all of us can come together and provide better education and healthy environment to children. Children have great mind and if nurtured properly they can do wonders.? We were really excited to interact with children from Woods International School who seems to be very inquisitive about nature, environment, pollution & education,? added Kumar.nnFamily members of Ritesh and his friends from school Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Deoghar were present during the plantation drive and bhoomi poojan. They also announced to provide free tuition to school children in collaboration with NGO MAKER.
