Babas, Yogis, Swamis or precisely say, saints are not bad. I had the opportunity of meeting spiritual healers like Swami Ranganathananda,Acharya Rajnish , Kripalu Maharaj,Sri Sri Ravishankar and many others. I met Yogi Adityanath long back when he was an intern under Swami Abaidyanath.

Why in India we spend our money like a miser and Government money lavishly.....This is human tendency. No accountability. How can something that can't see itself see another?

Before Covid-19 , Political Parties were spending money to address gatherings and meeting Voters . Now voters are being charged  to listen to the politicians by paying bills for the Internet Data used in their mobile phones while listening  and watching videos being sent by the politicians as a part of their Virtual Campaign for Panchayat Elections .

Could the government provide  Internet Data at Free of Cost to the voters till panchayat elections were Over in our state Odisha  and Assembly  Elections in other states . Otherwise, the poor will become poorer at the end of the election .

Mark Suzman, CEO of Bill and Melindia Foundation has in a message conveyed as follows:

‘I hope your 2022 is off to a good start. For the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, this is already proving to be a pivotal year.

We are making a significant change to our governance—appointing a new board of trustees that includes members from outside the Gates and Buffett families. You can read more about the new board and my thoughts on the role and future of the foundation in my inaugural foundation Annual Letter.

This step is a continuation of the foundation's evolution and a response to events that have taken place over the past two years—some of them local and personal, others of global importance. Our mission isn’t changing, and neither is our approach to philanthropy. We have always strived—and will continue to strive—for greater impact, which we measure in lives saved and opportunities provided to those most in need. For reasons that the letter discusses in detail, we believe that this is the right moment for our foundation to add strong, diverse, independent perspectives to our governance structure.

We also believe that the new board members are superbly qualified to provide those perspectives. When you read about them in the letter, we think you’ll agree.’

Transparency International has put India at 85th position  among 180 countries in terms of corruption perception index and reportedly worried because despite mechanisms in place, corruption hasn't been wiped out in the last few years.

But ,does corruption bother us any more? Hasn't it become a part of our socio-political life ?

RK Laxman is considered as the creator of the concept of Common Man through his cartoons. But, it was Shankar who created the concept much before RK Laxman and a full- length article was published on it in the magazine ‘The Heritage’ edited by Prof Manoj Das in the 1980s.

BJP is the only pro British party in India. People should reject the populist measures of this party . We have to understand the gimmicks of present BJP governments in various parts of the country.

After completing 72 years of being declared as a Republic and 75 years of gaining independence, the Nation is in a very weird situation, to a great extent, contrary to what the framers of the constitution had in the top of their mind for the Republic. In the parliamentary democracy, it is only in the houses that the rules for the country are framed after threadbare discussions and healthy debates, where the Opposition can hold the government responsible for ther acts of omissions and commissions.

A few decades ago the laws were debated not for hours but even for days before being adopted. All those healthy debates have vanished. Steamrolling the bills through Parliament or State Assemblies has become the order of the day. Even disruption in the houses are stage-managed with the help of some stooges in the Opposition to prevent debates. The Standing Committees are almost redundant with less than 10
