Major reshuffle in Delhi Police

NEW DELHI: A major reshuffle was ordered in the Delhi Police among the ranks of additional commissioner of police and deputy commissioner of police.nnAccording to an official order, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Romil Baaniya has been transferred as vice-principal, Police Training College in Jharoda Kalan.nnVijay Kumar, currently posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) will be replacing Baaniya as DCP (South), it said.nnMonika Bhardwaj, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southwest), will be stepping in Kumar’s shoes as DCP(West).nnAmarendra Kumar Singh, Additional Commissioner of Police (Security) will assume the charge of Additional CP (Traffic), the order said.nnDhiraj Kumar, Additional CP (Security) will assume the charge of Additional CP (Special Branch), it added.nnSource: Press Trust of India
