By Anish SinghnnNEW DELHI/ JAMSHEDPUR (INDIA): In an effort to provide a virtual platform for working professionals to enhance their skills, a Gurugram-based ed-tech firm Talentedge today launched its upgraded version of SLIQ app in a collaboration with a leading management institute XLRI in Jamshedpur.nnUnder the pact, the company will look after everything that include sales, marketing and reach while the XLRI would provide faculty and certificates.nnSpeaking at the launch Father E Abraham, Director, XLRI said, “Executive education is not new to us. XLRI has always been the forefront in adopting technology. We are happy to have partnership with the Talentedge. The campus holds a limited number of students while the virtual learning system has a vast reach.”nn”Innovations like SLIQ will help us refine our courses further to meet the needs of learners and industry, alike. It will enhance students’ learning through futuristic technology,” added Mr Abraham.nnThe live classroom learning experience will be initially launched in two certificate courses from October 3, 2017.nnListing out the advantages of SLIQ 2.0, Aditya Malik, CEO and MD, Talentedge said, “The idea to develop this learning system is whatever you can do in physical classroom, you can do in the virtual classroom also. We are able to cover 250 cities and have generated one lakh queries in a month.”nnFurther, Malik added, “Machine learning is the definitive future of education in India. We hope SLIQ 2.0 will enable truly customised education and real-time problem solving capabilities. It will not only help learn faster but also foster user’s overall learning satisfaction.”nnRam K Kakani, Faculty at XLRI said, “People are busy but they have ambition to grow. We have reach now and the executives can attend our programme from anywhere safely and securely.”nnOn being asked about how the tutor would get to know that the students are attending the class or not, an executive of the company said after every 5-10 seconds the live picture will be taken and then transmitted into the dashboard.nnThe company will also analyse the data with every click the student make, every text activity and facial recognition. With facial recognition, the faculty will be able to know what mood the student is in.nnThe cost of pursuing this course will be Rs 1000 per hour and it may vary with the type of courses.nnThe minimum work experience required for pursuing this course is two years.nn
