Rajni Kant Mishra takes over as DG of SSB

NEW DELHI (INDIA): Rajni Kant Mishra took over as Director General, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) succeeding Smt. Archana Ramasundaram here today.nnHe is a Uttar Pradesh Cadre Police Officer of 1984 Batch. He is a Post Graduate in Science. He has served in different capacities in the state of Uttar Pradesh.nnMishra joined CBI in the year 2002 and worked there as DIG & IG till 2009. He joined Border Security Force (BSF) in June, 2013 and worked as IG/ADG BSF, Frontier Headquarters, Tripura and South Bengal. Before taking over the charge of DG, SSB, he was working as ADG, BSF Headquarters.nnMishra is a recipient of Police Medal in 2003 and Prestigious President Police Medal in 2009.
