Atanu Chakraborty appointed secretary in Department of Investment and Public Asset Management

NEW DELHI: The government of India appointed IAS officer Atanu Chakraborty as secretary in Department of Investment and Public Asset ManagementnnHe is a 1985 batch IAS officer of the Gujarat cadre,nn”Atanu Chakraborty, IAS (GJ:85), Director General of Hydrocarbons as Secretary, Department of Investment and Public Asset Management,” said Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions in a statement.nnChakraborty is an electronics and communication engineering graduate. He also has a post graduate diploma in business finance and an MBA from the UK.nnIn Gujarat, Chakraborty has served several departments including finance, ports, home and labour.
