NEW DELHI: A National Seminar on ?Purification of River water of MAA Ganga? held on 27th July 2018 at India International Center New Delhi.nnThis Seminar was held by ?Indian Association of Japan? in association with ?Confederation of NGOs of India?.nnDr. Bhure Lal chairman of Environment Monitoring Committee, appointed by Supreme Court was the chief guest of the seminar along with Guest of Honor , Dr. Kamal Taori, former IAS officer and Dr, Bhure Lal in his address told in details to the audience about the problems of River Water of MAA Ganga in Ganga.nnOn this occasion ,Dr. Sanjay Mehrotra, President of Association of Japan. Dr. Mehrotra was accompanied by River scientists & Naofumi Hishinum and Toshiyuki Takeo from Japan and elaborated all about the prima facie .nnThe Japanese Expert presented ?Bubble Technology? for natural purification and Rejuvenation of Rivers. This process will purify the water of various rivers in India in a natural way.nnSudarshan Sareen, President of Confederation of NGOs of India in his welcome address appreciated the initiative for taking this pious cause of MAA Ganga.nnKamal Taori, Patron of Confederation of NGOs of India who presided as the guest of Honour stressed the need to be practical in this matter and every citizen of India should do this work for MAA Ganga.nnThe seminar was also addressed by Lt General P. K. Sehgal (Retd) call upon to involve Ex-Serviceman of the country in this noble task.nnThe Invited Delegates and guests appreciated the technology very much. The expert proposed to use this technology for cleaning the water of MAA Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati before ?Kumb Mela 2019? in Prayag, Allahabad.nnMany dignitaries attended including Vijay Khurana, Secy. General of Confederation of NGOs of India, Dr. Brajnandan Ji Maharaj, Dev Ashram Trust, Varanasi, Babu Nair Director, Hydrogeology, National Mission for Clean Ganga, R. N Jindal, Director, Ministry of Environment, Govt. of India and Rajan Lamba , an eminent social activist behind upgradation of Bawana Industrial Area for emerging MSME entrepreneurs.
