Indian Jawan martyred in ceasefire violation in Poonch

JAMMU (INDIA): An Indian army jawan was killed today when Pakistani troops violated ceasefire in Poonch sector in Jammu region.nnOfficial sources said Pakistani troops opened fire at Indian posts around 1400 hours at Gulpur area which was effectively retaliated by the army.nnThe sources said the jawan was injured in the firing from across the border and he was shifted to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries this evening.nnThe jawan identified as sepoy Deepak Jaganath had suffered a bullet injury in the head.nnThere have been a number of ceasefire violations along the international border and the Line of Control this year.nnSource: Press Trust of India
